Beyond Extraction Counter-Conference

This past weekend, Graphe—along with the Mining Injustice Solidarity Network, and the Beyond Extraction collective out of York University—put on a counter-conference and series of direct actions at the annual meeting of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. For our part, we led workshops that sat between critical corporate research and citizen science, gathering information on mining companies and their subsidiaries from SEDAR and SEDI. We subsequently geocoded these, producing graphics printed for handout at a protest the following day.
